I made the film LIVING WITH CHIMPANZEES fifteen years ago.
In the fall of 2010, the chimps went to live in the sanctuary of Great Apes where
chimps learn to be chimpanzees again.

WHITE HORSE produced and directed by academy award-winning Maryann De Leo and edited by Flavia Fontes, was selected to screen at Cinéma du réel in France and at the Berlin Film Festival. The documentary follows Maxim’s journey back to Pripyat, twenty years after the Chernobyl nuclear accident. Pripyat city is unfit for human habitation for 24,100 years because of radioactivity.

Claude Levi-Strauss is a French anthropologist most well-known for his development of structural anthropology. His belief that the characteristics of the human mind are everywhere similar was found after countless travels to Brazil and visits to North and South American Indian tribes.
